I think the mob, too, but I’m not too sure about that. The Mob itself is largely sponsored by Phizer, so it’s all a vicious tangled cycle that goes all the way up to the Shinehart Wig Corporation.

Something that really bugged me about this episode is that we’re clearly suposed to really like “Caroline” and hind her empowered and charmingly rebellious and whatnot, but to me she just came across as irritatingly self-righteous, self-concerned, jingoisitc, and she really didn’t give a darn about anyone around her beyond how they served her needs. Did she love her boyfriend or just need a free ride to yet another war protest? Did she care about animal rights over dead kids saving animal tensting, or was it all just about me, me, me?

I felt it was all about her. I don’t think we were *supposed* to think that since the writing was oh-so-very-painfully earnest, so I have to blame that on the actress, I guess.
