It was interesting, and had some great and deep bits, but it also felt looooong.

[LOTR director's cuts, on the other hand, may have been less deep (unless you think it's an allegory, which JRRT denies), but only at the very end of RotK did they show their length.]

Nice job representing the nerds, Lev. Too bad Ron Moore won’t be calling you to add your thoughts about BSG to their DVD sets….

BTW, the director’s cut is well worth watching just for the scene where Hollis Mason is attacked.
