television is overrated. i used to watch it quite a bit, but it really became a waste of time. i think that everyone has become a nerd these days. look at us: always on our cell phones and devices. we are all pencil pushers and very mechanical.

Some PhD candidates can be silly. I’ll be applying to a PhD program soon, and I may have to move. I don’t watch TV, no cable, can’t get any reception, but I do have a DVD player, and you can be sure all 12 seasons of the Simpsons are coming along.
