I feel like one of the millions of starving children who unlike Charlie Bucket didn’t get a golden ticket to Willy Wonka’s factory and subsequently died in poverty and obscurity. For I have not gotten an invitation to Google Wave:
I do kind of want one though, if only to get a sense of whether it’s as rich as it looks. In case you can’t be bothered to watch the intro movie, Google Wave is an app/service that combines messaging, collaboration, and media-sharing into one hybrid medium. Pretty cool. I’ve been waiting for Google to generate something other than the steady stream of interesting also-rans (Google Docs, Android, Open Social, Orkut, Chrome etc. etc.) for which they are internationally famous. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this were it.
