Picard, easily the best captain of the group. And of course, he did give us the line “Let’s make sure history never forgets the name Enterprise”

My favorite character would have to be Spock – his dry, logical sensibilities and unique half-human, half-Vulcan attributes make him one of the best original crew members of the Enterprise!

I would have to say Montgomery Scotty from the recent Star Trek movie. Its just something about his accent that drives me nuts! lol

I think The Doctor from Voyager is hilarious which makes the occasions when it gets a little serious that much more memorable. I don’t think any of the series or movies have a better straightman.

My favorite character is Spock. When I watched Star Trek the movie, I feel in love with the character, he’s different and cool also very cute at the same time.

Jadzia Dax. What can I say, I was a sucker for the hot witty one. At least I was until Terry Farrell did everyone’s favorite “I want more money” vanishing trick -_-

Hands down, that’s gotta be Captain Ezri Dax of the Federation Starship Aventine. Formerly of DS9, of course. :-D

Spock, all the way. I think he KNOWS about the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins deep down, but he’s keeping it a secret.

Data is my favorite of all the characters in the Star Trek universe. His innocence, humor, and desire for knowledge and understanding appealed to me.

The Star Trek universe is too rife with great characters, so I’ll cast a vote for the little guy. To the Red Shirts, for their endless and wordless sacrifice.

Geordi La Forge because he finds time from his busy engineering schedule to promote reading.

My favorite is character is Zefram Cochrane from Star Trek First Contact movie. The guy so bloody funny, the antithesis of an historical hero.

seven of nine. obvious reasons: Being half Borg.

A personal favorite would have to be Data. Especially during Star Trek Generations when his emotion chip is activated. Scanning for lifeforms has never been so priceless.

The Borg. They count as one character, right? I mean, they fly around in a box. Nothing more needs to be said.

Voyager’s B’Elanna Torres. Half-human-half-klingon, half-federation-half-maquis, all-badass female chief engineer who managed to punch out the previous chief engineer and still keep her job?

I can only aspire to be that awesome.

(Minus the whole “my child is the messiah” thing they dropped on her at the end of the show. That was a little over-the-top.)

Captain Kirk! just because the guy is a badass, and you have to love Shatners line delivery

I’ll throw my vote in for Voyager’s Emergency Medical Hologram. His journey for humanity, despite his total lack of it, lead to some of the best episodes of the show. And that wit.

C’mon people! The most underrated captain from the most underrated series: Captain Benjamin Sisko of DS9. Capable of deep emotion, but won’t blink in the face of the entire Dominion. He punched Q before he found out (SPOILER ALERT) he was part god himself. Oh, and only Star Trek character (other than his son) to openly love baseball.

Commander Chang from ‘Star Trek VI:The Undiscovered Country’. Quoting Hamlet in Klingon was very cool. Christopher Plummer created a legendary ‘bad guy’.

Spock has always been my favorite. A guy that can pretty much solve and math or physics problem is ok in my book.
