We’re either getting really clumsy or adventurous.

From the makers of the G-Shock line of watches and ruggedized G’zOne mobile phones comes a rough and tumble digital camera dubbed Exilim G EX-G1. By the looks of it, I doubt I’d ever put in my pocket for fear of severing a major artery in an area I hold near and dear to my heart.

If you’re familiar with Casio’s aforementioned products then it’s safe to say that this camera is one tough cookie, which is probably why it’s priced at $300. The 12.1-megapixel shooter is wafer thin at 0.78 inches and features a 3X zoom lens and 2.5-inch display. Encased in stainless steel, the EX-G1 is waterproof up to 10 feet, shock resistant, freezeproof, and dustproof.

That’s all well and good, but it does it take decent photos?
