Wednesday is nearly here and we here at Techland are gearing up for our pilgrimage to The Local Comic Shop. This week we’re pulling the latest in Punisher vs Kingpin in PunisherMAX #2. The new series God Complex from the creator of Powers debuts. What’s left of the group of survivors in Walking Dead #68 continue their march to DC. The latest Batgirl faces off against the real deal, Batman and Robin, in Batgirl #5. Finally, Marvel’s relaunch of the half cyborg Deathlok continues in the second issue of the series.

Punishermax #2
“KINGPIN,” PART 2-An all-new ongoing series from the acclaimed team of Jason Aaron (WOLVERINE: WEAPON X) and Steve Dillon (PUNISHER: WELCOME BACK FRANK), two guys who were born to tell the exploits of Marvel’s most brutal vigilante. Learn how mob bodyguard Wilson Fisk became the hard-bitten, brutal man he is today, as his plan to become the most powerful crime figure in New York springs into action. The rise of the Kingpin continues, though not if Frank Castle has anything to say about it.

God Complex #1
The co-creator of POWERS and MICE TEMPLAR, MICHAEL AVON OEMING, brings you magic, monsters and GODS. Meet Paul, he’s an everyday kind of guy. He’s kinda tall, kinda strong and kinda not mortal at all. Paul is actually Apollo (no, really) in hiding… from his family… the ancient Greek gods. Paul’s father (you know, Zeus) would rather see Paul dead than living as a mortal… So, for Paul, being a god is complex… and dangerous…

Walking Dead #68
Another stranger is encountered on the way to Washington. The information this man brings could change everything for the survivors.

Batgirl #5
It’s Bat vs. Bat in “Core Requirements” part 1! As Gotham City burns, the new Batgirl comes face-to-face with Batman and Robin, who are anything but happy about her running around with a bat-symbol on her costume. Batman confronts Oracle as Damian confronts Stephanie in the ultimate Bat-family feud.

Deathlok #2
Marvel’s ultimate cyborg is back in this 7-issue Marvel Knights limited series written by Charlie Huston (MOON KNIGHT) and breathtakingly illustrated by Lan Medina (FOOLKILLER). In the not-too-distant future, war is a spectator sport and warriors die hard and live fast! So when telegenic warrior Lieutenant Mike Travers hotdogs it on the battlefield and gets himself and his C.O., Luther Manning, blown to bits, it looks like the ratings are about to take a hit, right? Wrong. Through the miracle of science, RoXXon Corp is proud to bring you tomorrow’s Super Soldier today, the unprecedented feat of military technology called Deathlok the Demolisher!
