Lev and I picked our top 10 gadgets of the year for Time a couple weeks back and then we picked our top 10 gadgets of the year for Techland shortly thereafter. It turns out that both lists are identical. Weird, right? Or maybe you’ve already read about this…
I was told that I had to make a video for this list and, well, I had no choice but to do one. It’s probably one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever had to do and it didn’t help that it was shot on Friday at 5PM. As most of you know, I suck at sleeping and last week was no different. So forgive my “cute” (Ugh. Someone just called me to tell how “cute” it was. FML) performance because they made me do it and that jerk Lev Grossman (<3 you, Lev.) was on vacation last week. I will undoubtedly be ridiculed for months to come when peers and friends catch wind of this.

Contrary to popular belief, we did review the Droid and deemed it worthy enough to take the top spot in 2009. And who ever said this was the Best Phone of the Year list?
