It’s been an incredible decade for the comic book industry in Hollywood. We not only saw the rebirth of the Batman franchise thanks to Christopher Nolan, but we also saw the rise of Marvel Studios with Iron Man. Things are looking up for the rest of the superhero universe in the upcoming decade, but we certainly can’t forget about the flops and utter disappointments from the 2000s. History is doomed to repeat itself and that much is obvious with rumors that Ghost Rider will be blazing his way back onto the screen along with even more Spider-Man and X-Men films.

I’m no film critic (since, you know, that’s Steve’s deal) but I’m a big enough comic book nerd that I felt the need to put a list together of the worst superhero movies of the decade. I thought this would be an easy list to compile but it wasn’t. There were a ton of craptacular superhero movies this decade. I could have stretched this out to 20 but then I’d basically be including every terrible superhero movie made in the last 10 years.
