Nexus One: New Specs, Details

It comes as no surprise that the Android 2.1 ROM from the Nexus One has leaked. It’s already been ported to other Android devices like the Droid, but what’s most intriguing about the leak is that it reveals a handful of key hardware specs. The most notable of the bunch being libraries specific to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor, which is ridiculously fast. The vaunted Google Phone also supports 802.11b/g/n and FM radio thanks to the Broadcom BCM4329 chipset. It doesn’t appear as though there is any support for Flash.

Whether the Nexus One will remain a dev phone is unclear, but various outlets including Reuters assert to have it on authority that the Nexus One could be available as early as January 5 and that it would be tied to T-Mobile. Android&Me claims that the Nexus One will retail for $199.
