You eventually get to see all 12 of the humanoid Cylon models, but you’re going to have to watch for a while to find out who they all are.

There are multiple copies of each of the Cylons, so one copy of Boomer is on the Galactica and another is with Helo on Caprica.

As far as Galactica Boomer goes, her story in Season 1 is all about her trying to figure out what the frak is wrong with her. Your confusion about her mirrors her confusion about herself.

Just keep watching! The first 2 seasons are guaranteed to please. Your mileage may vary with the final 2 seasons, but I enjoyed the entire series.
