Geeze Pete, couldn’t you refer to them as the ‘Philip K Dick family’? The headline just seems so harsh towards them (though agree that I think they’re being presumptuous in trying to see royalties for a word already in circulation).

I don’t think they have a leg to stand on, the basic meaning of the word “nexus” is “the means of connection between things linked in series ” sounds like a cell phone to me….

did the dick family invent he term “nexus”? no. I don’t think they have the right to claim ownership of the term just because they used it in a book. if google made a robot and called it the nexus 1, there might be something there, but this is a phone, and is using a name that by definition fits the product perfectly.
