In The Walking Dead we meet small-town cop Rick Grimes when he wakes up from a coma to find the world overrun by zombies. Leading a band of survivors, Rick has to make tough decisions, and through the brilliant writing and artwork we see that he is a real, fallible human being. (By Tracey John)
