The tech world is a buzz with word that Apple has secured the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco for a press event beginning on Jan. 26 27.
Last week, The Financial Times reported the rumored reservation at the YBCA, the same spot Steve Jobs used to introduce new iPods in September. So what’s the big announcement this time around, Mr. Jobs?
Yesterday, a Fox News source confirmed the event, saying that the announcement will focus on the mobility space. All signs point to the tablet, already the one of the year’s most anticipated releases. (Tech enthusiasts everywhere squeal in delight.)
Earlier this month, Apple Insider reported that production on the tablets would begin in February – featuring a 10.1-inch multi-touch LCD display – and launch in March or April. Here’s hoping they’re right.
