One category unrepresented here is the GPS-tracking app. These track the location of your phone and allow you to locate it if you lose it or it gets stolen. They also let you track your kids, wife, etc. The best one on the market (and the one I use on all my family’s phones) is Droid Tracker Pro. I lost my first Nexus One phone and that was VERY expensive to replace. I’m not losing another one….

Another nice one is “speed shutter”. Turns that slows as molasses camera into one that can take 20 shots per second. Good for action stuff too.

I've been trying a few of the apps from the gallery, man there's some cool stuff. I found a site here http://www.android-phone-apps.org/ which has some other apps too. Cant get over how much time I'm spending on my phone now. @supermariog1 Im gonna give Dolphin browswer a go next and also try eBuddy as well. @toosday - sounds like a cool app. Cheers.

Speed Shutter is handy too. It turns your phone into a 20 frames per second camera. The Camera can be triggered by a quick motion (following a moving object), a change in brightness (like lightning), a 30 second self timer or just a button press.

A good one is “Image Lock” especially if you have a teenager (or pictures you don’t want your boss / wife / husband / person who found your phone etc…. to find ). It locks the picture with a PIN # and then hides it behind another picture so people don’t even know its there.
