I too have the Freetalk Everyman, and feel about the same way you do about the device. However, a couple of your assertions about it are overly simplistic.

The Freetalk Everyman doesn&#039;t &quot;use the superwideband audio codec&quot; as you suggest. It doesn&#039;t directly relate to the codec. The codec is implemented in the Skype client, at arms length from the headset. Any headset used with Skype will use that codec.

The real benefit to the Freetalk Everyman headset is that it simply provides high quality audio. At least, better quality than headsets designed for used with telephones.]]></description>
