We are excited to pick up some great issues this week. Captain America’s monthly picks up again with number 602 and we find out what Steve’s been up to. Fall of the Hulk’s starts to heat up with Red Hulk facing off against the Thing in Hulk #19. We find out more about Max Damage’s plan to become a paragon for good in Incorruptible #2. We’re picking up Streets of Gotham #8 if for no other reason than it’s drawn by the talented Dustin Nguyen. Finally Grant Morrison starts a new book called Joe the Barbarian, that should encompass many fantasy genres from ninjas to knights. Can’t wait. C’mon back later in the week to see what made the Panel of the Week!

Incorruptible #2
BOOM! Studios showed the world that “Mark Waid Is Evil” with the smash-hit series Irredeemable. Now the world will see that Mark Waid is Incorruptible! The reformed super villain Max Damage and his sidekick, the less reformed Jailbait, set out on their first mission – to extract vengeance against an old ally who must be brought to justice and who holds an important key to Max’s plans to bring down the Plutonian! Covers by Tommy Lee Edwards and Rafael Albuquerque.

Joe The Barbarian #1
Having an overactive imagination can get a kid through a lot, but it doesn’t change the facts: Joe’s still the kid in school that can’t fit in. He’s the victim of bullies. His dad died overseas in the Iraq war. And then there’s the Type 1 diabetes he has to live with. So is it insulin-deprived delirium or something much, much bigger that transports Joe to a land inhabited by all his toys – from ninja commandos to action robots to magical knights to star fleet captains? Is Joe really the savior of this wild fantasyland that’s been held under siege by dark magic and evil forces? With the help of a samurai rodent, is he ready to take back besieged castles and win the freedom of an oppressed people? Or is he just an over imaginative boy who could die if he doesn’t take his meds? White-hot writer Grant Morrison follows up his phenomenal BATMAN AND ROBIN with an epic adventure that’s Home Alone by way of Lord of the Rings accompanied with to-die-for art by future superstar Sean Murphy (YEAR ONE: BATMAN/SCARECROW, HELLBLAZER).!

Batman Streets of Gotham #8
The rash of child abductions requires decisive action, so Robin goes undercover to learn more about the missing kids. But what can he do when he winds up a prisoner in Zsasz’s slaughterhouse? Can even a highly trained warrior escape from the frighteningly evil clutches of Zsasz? And in the Manhunter co-feature, Kate has to deal with the results of her recent encounter with Two-Face. But is prepared to uncover the mystery surrounding the former D.A.’s death? And can she even trust Two-Face’s word?

Hulk #19 Fall of Hulks
This is it! The Fall of The Hulks begins here. The opening round: THE RED HULK VS. THE THING with Reed Richards’ life at stake. When the Baxter Building is attacked by the all-new, all-deadly Frightful Four, who will save the Fantastic Four? How about THE RED HULK? Not a chance. The superstar team of JEPH LOEB and ED McGUINNESS shotgun this mindblowing chapter of the biggest Hulkventure of them all.

Captain America #602
The monthly CAPTAIN AMERICA returns with a bang! Where has the Captain America from the ’50s been the past few months, and what part of our modern world has welcomed him? And what will Steve and Bucky do when an old enemy tries to become a revolutionary? TWO AMERICAS begins here! By best-selling writer Ed Brubaker with art by Luke Ross. Plus, the start of a Second Bonus Feature – NOMAD by Sean McKeever and David Baldeon!
