Here’s what else going on in nerd news around the Web:
For Anyone Who Ever Attended Middle School. The trailer for upcoming movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid is out, and I have to say, it looks adorable. The flick is based on the popular book series, which is even better. Take a peek.
Still The Most Expensive Double-Album Ever. Today, a judge reversed a ruling for illegal file sharer (Oh, the horror!) Jammie Thomas-Rasset that ordered her to pay $2 million for distributing a whopping 24 songs over the Internet. Now she’s only paying $54,000.
Why Travel? Historic monuments in the UK are now available via Google’s Street View.
At Least England’s Happy? YouTube announced that it will begin streaming live sporting events. Unfortunately, “sporting events” means cricket. But for a little televised sport, it could take off. Who knows?
The Dangers Of Apple Employment. Gizmodo found some really hilarious accounts of lives of Apple’s “Geniuses.” (Spoiler Alert: A guy gets punched in the face.)
