Really? Apple wasn’t thinking differently when they brought the first personal computer to market? When they introduced the 3.5″ floppy, CD-ROM, or USB (all firsts in the industry)? Or when they brought the GUI to the masses?

Yeah, right, a colored all-in-one computer, 20 years after Apple was founded, was when they “started to think differently.”

Must not be hard to get a job at Time/Techland as a tech writer. Clearly, knowledge of the industry is NOT required.

I think what the writer was trying to say was “this is when apple started using the Blue Ocean strategy” I bet writer just doest care.

This is getting tiring.
Neither Mac nor IBM introduced any of the mentioned technologies.
Both companies “borrowed” them from other companies.

This is why I hate getting involved in the Mac/PC pissing contests.

spookie writer hit it right on the head. finally, someone who knows their stuff. and as for robbyx, relax. this little blood vs crips of the computer industry is getting rediculous! Apple sucks in their own way just like pc does. the only difference is that apple has fans that would probably pistol whip you for bad mouthing apple. PEOPLE, its not that serious!!
