Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Demo Drops On Xbox 360 – Go Get It

This morning EA’s DICE studio released a Xbox 260 demo of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which is sure to make first-person shooter connoisseurs very, very happy. It doesn’t offer much–you’ll only get to play the online multiplayer map called Port Valdez–but it’s enough to give you a sense of just how much havoc you’ll be able to cause when the full version of BFBC2 goes on sale March 2nd. PC owners who pre-ordered the game can also sneak a peak at it today; the PS3 troops have to wait until Feb. 11th.

Review: Soulo Converts iPad into Karaoke Machine

Karaoke lovers typically fall into two categories: Those who enjoy it, and those whose arms have to be twisted to get up and sing in public. Enter Soulo, a software and microphone kit that can turn an iPad or other Apple device into a karaoke machine. It gives you instant karaoke in the privacy of your own home, or wherever you carry your Apple gadgets. That’s the idea, anyway.

Yep fire up those Xbox 260′s!!! LOL. Good typo, sir! Anyway, this should be the next big time shooter. It looks great from the trailers and hey, DICE has an awesome track record.

Just played this demo and loved it!! It was a little glitchy in the beginning but once it was fixed I enjoyed the vast open levels that everyone loved from the first game. The destruction was maybe highlight of the demo though. It has been greatly improved from the Bad Company 1. From the chipping away of the fences to whole buildings collapsing in front of you, this game really makes each match unique and unpredictable. It took me sometime with the new controls and I did notice that the guns feel different than the first game, you will have to decide if you like it for yourself. The vehicles let you move pretty fast through the levels reduces the running around time and balancing out the down time and the combat time. Definitely get this demo even if you don’t plan on getting the game just to experience the mass destruction and the beautiful chaos this game provides.
