We’ll always stay away from the light. Thanks to you, Zelda. Poltergeist star Zelda Rubinstein passed away yesterday, reported Radar. The 76-year-0ld (or the film that made her famous) is the sole reason that I don’t own a TV. RIP.
Remember her? Apparently, The CW has ordered a reboot of La Femme Nikita. Or so says The Hollywood Reporter. Oooo. Wonder who will play her? Maybe the Gossip Girl cast could use some work. I hear their ratings have tanked.
More from Apple. Apple has updated its iPhone SDK to allow VoIP applications to run over 3G data networks. Before today, VoIP applications were only approved for App Store if they were limited to Wi-Fi.
Motorola’s in the mix. Mobile company Motorola announced that they’re working on a phone for Google. According to Electronista, chief executive Sanjay Jha called the phone a “direct to consumer device with Google,” but didn’t mention pricing or release dates.
Sans Spock? Star Trek star Zachary Quinto apparently told MTV that he’s taking a Star Trek time-out for at least two years, leaving fans wondering if he’ll be on board for the sequel set to open in the summer of 2012. Would they film without him?
