Wow, not only is the film amazing and thought-provoking, but the book is just as amazing. I find myself going back and forth between Primer, the film and Primer Universe, the book. I know it is a shortcut by reading all the spoilers but since almost everyone seems dazed and confused by Primer's complexity, there has to be this source to prevent the film's only flaw. It's too complicated to understand, even after a dozen viewings. No other film has gone here, though it can be a bit sedate for anyone expecting action and wild adventure.

after i watched this movie for the first time, i watched it again about an hour later. i had never done that before and haven't since. i also became quasi-obsessed with understanding the plot, and what actually happens - if that's even possible. i think i got a fairly firm grasp on it, but now i can't remember.

i feel myself getting sucked back into figuring it out. thanks a lot.

Hugely powerful movie. 29:10 is really epic -- it's like you've watched them build a time machine up from first principles, and when it really kicks in actually feel how weird and world-destroying an idea it is -- you get it the same second they do. I can't pretend I followed the plot point for point at the end, but I got the gist of it.
