A Preview of DC’s First Wave #1

A few months back DC reintroduced pulp icon Doc Savage to the world in Batman/Doc Savage. Today, via The Source, DC gives us a sneak peak of the first few pages of First Wave #1 along with full-color prints of previously shown black and white pages. The six-issue run is being penned by Brian Azzarello and drawn by Rags Morales. Is that the Spirit from Central City? Yes. And there’s my personal favorite Batman, too.

Says Azzarello:

“It’s exciting to be part of this. Everybody involved has really worked their tails off building this world, and as it rolls out in the next few months, you can expect more than a few surprises. The most important thing for us as creators is to make readers care about the characters. I think they’ll find themselves caring in ways they haven’t before. It should be fun.”

Review: Soulo Converts iPad into Karaoke Machine

Karaoke lovers typically fall into two categories: Those who enjoy it, and those whose arms have to be twisted to get up and sing in public. It gives you instant karaoke in the privacy of your own home, or wherever you carry your Apple gadgets. That’s the idea, anyway.
