You may only know him from “Exhibit A,” his featured song on Fight Night Round 4, but Jay Electronica’s been burning up the internets for at least the last two years. The N’Awlins native has been winning hearts and ears with a flurry of mixtapes and tracks that  showcase his clever flow and spiritually ambitious lyrics. It helps that he’s been hooked up with beats by heavyweights like Danger Mouse, Just Blaze and the late, great J Dilla. He’s cooked up a few loops of his own, too, and his latest comes from fiddling around with a PSP game.

Developed with Timbaland and released last year, Rockstar Games’ Beaterator lets players program drums, bass and a slew of other instruments–including your own sounds you can import–into funky jams that put your inner Kanye on display. The company responsible for Grand Theft Auto put the music generation title in the hands of some of hip-hop’s finest but have so far only released the Jay Electronica track.

Not too shabby, right? Who needs Fruity Loops?

And, if you have idea of who Mr. Electronica is, get “Exhibit C ” on your iPod right now. It was this lapsed hip-hop head’s favorite rap song of last year.
