Today in Techland: Want to see the year 2010 as told by 1972? Yeah, us neither. But, Geoffrey Hoyle’s 2010: Living in the Future offered an amusing look at a future (our present) full of jumpsuits, “virtual phones” and food tubes. We couldn’t pass it up. Meanwhile on The Techland Show, the boys counted down the top five nerdy favorites of the week, and Douglas shared his thoughts on the latest issue of Batman & Robin.
Stuck on the west coast due to snow, Evan brought us the second half of his interview with the guys at Rocksteady, the creators of Batman: Arkham Asylum. Oh and Admiral Ackbar might be the next Ol Miss mascot?? Things sure are getting weird. TGIF.

Coloring his way to Hollywood: According to MTV, Will Smith and Maurice Sendak (Where The Wild Things Are) set to produce a film version of lovable children’s book Harold and The Purple Crayon for Sony. No word yet on a potential release date.
Doctor Who in America: The anticipated 11th season of the BBC’s Doctor Who has an official date for its American premiere. BBC America will air the show beginning on April 17, a few weeks after the April 3 premiere date for the folks across the pond.
As expected: Apple is projected to drop the price of it’s older version 3G iPhones down to what some speculate will be around $99 this summer. Cool, but nothing to get too excited over. They do this after every update.

Dollhouse on film? Probably not, but this week Eliza Dushku let it slip that she and Joss Whedon are working on an upcoming film. About what? She wouldn’t say. “”I would say that we would [be working on something new very soon]!” she confided to us. “I think we’re going to work on a kickass feature together that we’ve been thinking about for a few years.”
Coming to a city near you: God, I hope not. The upcoming (awful) Transformers 3 will contain big action scenes in Chicago and Moscow. Is this a big plot reveal? Stay tuned.

Angelina, Un-Wanted: The star has reportedly pulled out of Wanted 2 in lieu of starring in Alfonso Cuaron’s Gravity. No word on if the Wanted sequel will continue on with out her.
Sad News: Andrew Koenig, son of Star Trek star Walter Koenig, was found dead in a Vacouver park just over a week after he was reported missing by his father. So far, all indications point to suicide. Our thoughts go out…
