Tron Legacy Trailer: The Mr. Blurrycam Edition

I have a habit of never watching trailers for movies that I have high hopes for and Tron Legacy is no different. In case you didn’t go and see Burton’s Alice over the weekend here’s a cam of the trailer that debuted during the IMAX event. Let me know what you think.

I caught Alice over the weekend. The Tron trailer was pretty sweet. It had a very ominous feel to it, looked great. My only complaint is that the first half of it that leads Flynn’s son to the arcade and into the MCP seemed kind of pat and obvious. I hope the story is a little more nuanced than what the trailer seemed to indicate. That aside, the world inside the MCP looks wild. In the last 28 years the MCP’s world looks to have shifted from totalitarian state to decadent gangland. Anyway, I’m still way excited about seeing this movie.

Jeff Bridges should be excited too. After last night I’d say he’s going to have a very good year, critically and commercially.
