I still have the sneaking suspicion that MIB/the smoke monster didn’t find a loophole and Jacob has been planning out how MIB/TSM would kill him and then set a loooooong term plan to defeat him when he tried by making him think he was winning until he had lost but hadn’t realized it yet.

Somehow, I get the feeling that at the end of this series, it’s going to be Jack and Sawyer sitting on the beach, in the roles of the new Jacob and man-in-black, respectively. Jack, content to live pretty much forever on the island, and Sawyer, forever hating Jack for his perceived role in Juliet’s death. Just a thought.

Lost is many things, mostly good things, but one thing it is not is ‘Dawson’s Creek.’ At least Lost’s allusions and allegories don’t include naming the temptress Eve…

I still think that Ben is a stone-cold badass killer, albeit possibly with an broken heart of gold.
