Quirk is offering the first few chapters of it’s upcoming monster mash-up Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls free for e-readers.

Readers can download the first chapter today for the Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook, Sony Reader or other mobile reading device via Amazon.com, Barnes&Noble.com or ebookstore.sony.com.The book’s second chapter will become available for free download next week on March 19. The full book will become available on March 23.

Dawn of the Dreadfuls is the prequel to the monster masterpiece Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which follows Elizabeth Bennet and sisters as they fight the perils of love and zombie attacks.
