Rejoice: It’s iPad Pre-Order Day!

Starting today, Apple is accepting pre-orders for the iPad, which hits stores Saturday, April 3. Apple has limited iPad reservations to two per customer and is offering free delivery or free in-store pickup. (More on Techland: Hands-on With the Apple iPad)

iPad earbuds, dock, keyboard, power adapter, VGA adapter and case are also available for pre-order in the Apple store, though the expected shipping dates vary by product. I had a good laugh last night when a PC fan-bouy was trying to get my goat by telling me how the iPad has flopped so bad…not a single one has been delivered. I asked if he knew it (yesterday) was the first day of PRE-orders.
I never understood the strange “competition” (sic hatred) between people who use the two different platforms.
Anyhow, I am waiting for iPad G2, but I will definitely get one some day.
