Valuable nerdiness: The list of the Top 10 Most Valuable Books includes Gutenberg’s Bible and first folio Shakespeare, but rounding out the ninth and 10th spots respectively, are Action Comics #1 and the first edition of Maurice Sendak’s Where The Wild Things Are. The first issue of Action Comics introduces Superman, and sold for $1 million dollars last month where as a mint condition 1963 copy of Sendak’s famous children’s book is worth $10,200. Pretty impressive, huh?
A Netflix snafoo: Netflix was forced to cancel its second million dollar contest to improve its recommendation service after it was discovered that the data released for the contest could actually be used to identify users. Oops.
SXSW Interactive: It kicked off today in Austin, TX. The conference focuses on the latest in Web and mobile tech and features a keynote speech by Twitter founder Evan Williams.
The slump continues: The LA Times reports that video games sales are down for the 10th time this year. In February, sales fell 15 percent from this month last year.
