Apple Delays Some iPad Accessories Until May

It’s come to the attention of the nerd collective that two of Apple’s iPad accessories will be delayed until May. That’s right, the iPad keyboard and 10W USB power adapter are being pushed back until sometime in May.

I’m wondering why Apple doesn’t delay the iPad, too. The case won’t even ship until the week after. And who really cares about the dock or the VGA connector? Apple hasn’t even acknowledged the camera connector.

Did anyone pre-order?

No pre-order. I am waiting to hear people b**ch so I can see if I can deal with the short-comings.
Plus, I never, never, never buy an Apple G1 product. They never have ALL the features I want in G1, and I doubt this time will be any different.
There seems to be a lot of “haters” out there on this one, though. (I noticed the tag “lame”)

I tagged it “lame” because the accessories were delayed. I’m a jaded tech journo, so I’m sure I’ll find something to b*tch about. However, I’d much rather be tapping my response on an iPad than my crotch roasting 15-inch MBP right now.

I didn’t know you personally did the tags, I thought that was a “digg” thing or something like that. But I have seen/heard a lot of people cutting down what looks to be interesting technology w’o ever touching one.
BTW, I know what you mean, I am being roasted by my Macbook Pro as I write. Good thing I already have all the kids I want.

I wasn’t that impressed with it when I was at the press conference only because there weren’t any iPad specific apps then. We’ll see.
