Exclusive Preview: Spider-Man: Fever #2

One of the coolest-looking superhero projects of this spring is Spider-Man: Fever, a three-issue miniseries written and drawn by Brendan McCarthy, the psychedelic mastermind behind Swimini Purpose and Rogan Gosh. It’s a tribute to Steve Ditko’s ’60s-era Day-Glo weirdness, co-starring another one of Ditko’s visual creations, Dr. Strange. The first issue doesn’t come out until April 7, but we’ve actually got an exclusive preview of McCarthy’s art from the second issue. Feast your eyes and feed your head at the same time!

The Wall Street Journal’s Amir Efrati and Ethan Smith are reporting that Google is working on a consumer-electronics system designed to stream music–and, eventually, maybe video and other media–around the home. Their story doesn’t have much in the way of detail, but does say that Google’s brainchild might be akin to a lower-cost version of Sonos’s excellent-but-pricey music-streaming products. Absent more details, there are several ways to respond to this sketchy bit of news.
