March Madness: Who Will Take Narnia and the Phantom Zone?

Who’s excited for tomorrow?

So here we are on the eve of the greatest imaginary tournament known to man. Like we did yesterday we’re going to field your suggestions on who will take the Narnia and Phantom Zone brackets. This side of the bracket won’t go live until Friday, so you have some time to make your picks.

Also, we’re cobbling together a prize package, so please, please submit your brackets. Because of this last minute change, we’re going to hold off on the first round until 2PM ET tomorrow instead of 11AM ET. Send in your brackets to tips at techland dot com.

*This took me forever to decide. But what it basically comes down to is, could the Borg adapt to repel Dalek firepower before the Daleks exterminated all of them? If the answer is no, the Daleks win. If the answer is yes, I think there would be a stalemate. My reasoning is as follows:
There are probably about the same number of Borg and Daleks.
For the Borg to assimilate the Daleks, they’d have to break through the Dalek armor. This is nearly impossible to do. It would require several Borg to get through the armor of even one Dalek.
Even once that’s accomplished, assimilating a Dalek doesn’t really have any biological advantages – their strength is in their shear number, their armor, and their weaponry.
Each Dalek would also have to be assimilated separately. Given the numbers (and again, the fact that Dalek assimilation would provide virtually no advantage to the Borg), I don’t think the Borg could overcome the Daleks.
