Verizon Now Offering Mobile Hotspot for Free to Palm Owners, BOGO In Effect

In a random or not so random twist of fate, Verizon announced this morning that they’re now officially offering the Mobile HotSpot app for free to owners of the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus. Existing customers will find a $0 on their next billing cycle for the service.

They also announced that they’ve lopped off a few bucks from both devices. The Palm Pre Plus now retails for $49.99 and you get another one for free. $29.99 will get you a Pixi Plus in addition to a free one.
