What we really need here is the emoticon for the finger gun. Ideally, Google will translate it into an animated graphic just like the ~@~ graphic.

Kudos, my good man. People write “apps” (I guess that’s the right term) for GMail – you should pass this along to one of those teams to get done. It could also be used as a way to end annoying “reply to all” e-mails at work. Finger Gun says “we acknowledge your company wide reply-to-all and are ready to move on. No need to keep pushing this out to everyone”.
