Here’s what else is going on in nerd news around the Web:
Video games by … Martha Stewart?: Believe it. Majesco Entertainment cut a deal with Stewart’s company Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia to create games based on the Stewart-style content.
Pandora <3’s Facebook: The two are tying the knot, so to speak. Pandora will now access your Facebook account and suggest music for you based on previous things you’ve “Liked” via Facebook.
FOX cans American Torchwood: Fans have been pretty split about an Americanized version of anything Doctor Who related, and now they won’t need to worry about us getting our hands all over Torchwood … for now. FOX decided not to go ahead with the series, but that doesn’t stop other American networks from stepping up to the plate. The BBC said this in a statement:
“BBC Worldwide Productions and the FOX Broadcasting Company have mutually agreed not to progress together with a 13-episode serialized Torchwood format,” said BBC Worldwide in a statement. “We are currently in discussion with several interested networks.”
