“It’s a truth universally acknowledged that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains.” I think that goes for zombie-lovers, too.

The great Jane Austen mash-up, Pride & Prejudice & Zombies ($14.99, Amazon) has been given the graphic novel treatment, an action-packed love story full of misunderstanding and hacked corpses. Seth Grahame-Smith’s story of gore and romance translates perfectly as an illustrated medium due to the high caliber of action and the understanding per the title, that zombies are frequent. Writer Tony Lee (X-Men, Spider Man comics) and artist Cliff Richards (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Wonder Woman comics) rendered the treatment for Del Ray, and Techland has a special sneak peek into the book. (Pride & Prejudice & Zombies: The Graphic Novel hits bookstores May 4.)
