Techland readers, I apologize for the lack of Loadout today. I’m traveling to see a few things in San Francisco, which I’ll share upon my return. As a feeble attempt at making good, I offer up this awesome YouTube video I stumbled upon on Twitter.

The man unleashing the crazy is Damien Walters, a parkour athlete who’s done stunt work on Hellboy 2, Ninja Assassin and most recently Kick-Ass. Watching this guy throw himself off platforms and buildings brings to life the way I always thought Matt Murdock should move. That’s the thing about Marvel’s Catholic lawyer ninja. The guy’s blind, right? He shouldn’t care if he’s jumping off of a stoop or off of a roof. Walter’s reckless leaps into walls, complete with kick-off and flips, completely channels the “holy crap, that guy ain’t scared of anything” vibe that a Daredevil interpretation should use as its foundation. There’s been talk of a reboot that would wipe the taste of that Ben Affleck vehicle out of everybody’s mouths, Marvel’s film maestros should get this guy into Daredevil’s red leather ASAP.
