If the iPad’s lack of Flash support has kept you from shelling out the $500+ to join the whole tablet movement but you’re still intrigued by the idea nonetheless, you may want to check out the prototype Android tablets that Adobe has been showing off at the Web 2.0 Expo recently.
Perhaps most impressive, aside from being able to run Flash straight from within the web browser, is the tablet’s ability to run Adobe AIR applications smoothly. Check out this video of the tablet running Wired’s application:

These tablets are still in the early stages, but an Adobe rep apparently said that we can expect to see a whole bunch of these Android tablets from various companies flooding the market by the end of the year.
