Siege started off good but quickly went down hill with issue #4 being a disaster.
I also agree with your comments gminnj. Bendis has pretty much ruined Marvel Comics for me to the point that I stopped reading most of the main titles. I read Siege Cabal and thought it was a good story and was looking forward to Siege in the hopes that heroic Age would be a good point to jump back in but I just don’t that happening. A lot of my favorite characters have been ruined under Bendis’ watch and I think it may be forever at this point…. oh well at least I will save some much needed cash.

He has talent, but is in desperate need of an extremely strong editor, which he has never had.

If you’re like me and you don’t care for him, it is pretty hard to buy mainstream Marvel books these days, which is too bad (for me, I guess – he sells a lot of books).

I keep up with the Marvel universe through various boards, and borrow a few trades at my library once in a while, but Marvel no longer gets my money mainly because of Bendis and One More Day.

The product simply isn’t good enough for me to spend my money on it.
