Last night’s episode of CBS’ The Big Bang Theory was an origin tale: Leonard meets Sheldon.
The quirky, sometimes insane friendship between the two roommates all makes sense after Leonard fills Penny in on how things unfolded on the day they met. The whole episode was full of great laughs, but my favorite was yet another Firefly reference by mega fan Sheldon.
In other BBT news, we got word today that both TBS and FOX have purchased syndication rights to air the show for a whopping $1.5 million an episode, making the show the most expensive syndicate in history. (FX previously paid $800,000 an episode for Two and a Half Men repeats.) The show will begin airing in syndication in the fall of 2011.
