News quickly spread yesterday that J Allard and Robbie Bach were leaving Microsoft. For those that don’t know, Allard and Bach co-founded Microsoft’s Entertainment & Devices Division, so it came as a shock that the guys behind the Xbox, for example, were bidding adieu to Redmond.
Finally, now you can start hoping for that Defenders Of The Earth reunion: Comic publisher Dynamite Entertainment has announced that it now has the rights for Flash Gordon and Mandrake The Magician in addition to The Phantom, bringing the characters under the same publisher for the first time in over forty years.
Deadline is reporting that Transformer’s director Michael Bay has selected his Megan Fox replacement. English Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will become Megan 3.0, and not unlike Miss Fox herself, Transformers will be 23-year-old Whiteley’s first acting gig.
Sure, the Wii doesn’t need HDMI output but there’s something about the simplicity of a single-cable connection from your console to your TV that’s very appealing. Hooking stuff up with five component cables or even three composite cables seems so archaic nowadays.
