As a kid with a short attention span, I rarely read books for long periods of time. I typically flipped through to see the pictures to come back at a later time to actually read the words that were printed on all the pages that were skipped. The Where’s Waldo? line of books had just enough text and plenty of images for me to gander at in one sitting. And now that striped-sweater wearing bastard is invading my phone.
Classic Media and Capcom Mobile will announce later today that Waldo is taking a trip to Hollywood. The latest Waldo title (the 2nd so far) will be available for Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T customers for ~$7. Wheres Waldo? Hollywood includes classic scenes from the original book series, as well as a five mini games (Tic-Whack-Wizard, Odd One Out, and Slide Puzzles). Bonus content and in-game achievements will be awarded along the way.
The game will be available on most major feature phones, but no word on a smartphone rollout.
