If you’ve been wondering just how quickly James Cameron could turn around a sequel to the massively successful Dances With Smurfs – No, wait, I mean Avatar – then the answer appears to be “much sooner than it took him to follow up Titanic.”
James Cameron apparently told the All Things Digital conference that his next movie may be the much-discussed Avatar 2 (or, he admitted, “some other big film” – possibly his equally-discussed Battle Angel Alita adaptation?), will likely come out in the next three to four years and will definitely push 3D to the next level. So much for those of us who hoped he’d finally do that low-budget indie kitchen sink drama.
