Sony’s J Series All in Ones Sport Multi-touch and Blu-ray

Sony is getting ready to sell its “entry-level” VAIO J touchscreen all-in-one. It’s priced somewhat aggressively at $1100 and up for what you get—Intel Core i3 CPU, Blu-ray drive, 21.5-inch multi-touch display with 1920×1080 resolution, 4GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, and Windows 7 Home Premium.

The press release mentions that the series will “start at about $900” and makes passing mention that “select models” will feature Blu-ray drives, so I’m guessing there’s a non Blu-ray version that’ll probably sell for $899 but hasn’t been listed on Sony’s site yet. Whatever the case, it looks like a pretty decent all-in-one for your den assuming you have $900+ to spend. And let’s face it; if you have a den, you have $900. Maybe even more!
