Your First Look: Android Karenina

Another classic mash-up from Quirk Books lands in bookstores today. Its latest Frankenbook is Leo Tolstoys’ Anna Karenina, or Android Karenina ($8, Amazon), as written by Ben Winters (Sense & Sensibility & Sea Monsters.) With Android, Winters has given Tolstoy’s beautiful Russian epic a steampunk edge, filling the book with robots, space travel and yes, even a few aliens. (Read a Q&A with Winters here.) And we’ve got the book trailer.

Enjoy.
