In the long, long history of fan stunts to try and save their favorite shows, has anything been less moving than FlashForward fans pretending to blackout for two minutes and seventeen seconds across the world? Okay, the answer might be yes – Chuck fans having flash mobs where people dressed in short-sleeve button-down shirts gather in public places is more likely to look like a Best Buy convention than a fan movement – but, still: I can’t believe there are any executives at ABC who watched people collapse outside their office and lie still as if unconscious and thought, Wow. I should really give that show that makes people comatose another year after all.
