AT&T’s been noticeably skimpy when it comes to Android phones. It’s got the poorly-received Motorola Backflip and… that’s it.
Starting June 20th, though, AT&T will be selling the HTC Aria, an Android 2.1 handset with a 3.2-inch screen, 5-megapixel camera, HTC’s “Sense” user interface, and a $130 price tag after $100 rebate and two-year contract.
The Aria also features a Wi-Fi connection and compatibility with AT&T’s 7.2-Mbps high speed data network. I’d assume that the device will be upgradeable to Android 2.2 as well once it becomes widely available.
