Word on the street is that T-Mobile will be giving away any of its mobile handsets for free with a family plan this Saturday, just a day before Father’s Day. If you’re on a single-user plan, you can add a second user to make it a family plan and get the same deal, according to the Associated Press.
Not a bad deal if you’ve been eyeing, say, the HTC HD2 which normally sells for $200 or the MyTouch 3G Slide which normally fetches $180. Apparently “some phones will require a mail-in rebate” but you can add up to five freebies if you set up a five-person family plan.
