Lenovo Unveils Its First 3D Laptop, the IdeaPad Y560d

Lenovo’s jumping into the 3D arena with its 15.6-inch IdeaPad Y560d, which  will be available at the end of the month with a starting price of $1200. It appears that it’ll basically be an extension of the already-available Y560 line.

You’ll be able to configure the Y560d with up to an Intel Core i7 CPU, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 750GB hard drive, and an optional Blu-ray drive. An ATI Radeon HD5730 graphics card with 1GB of memory comes standard.

The machine comes with 3D glasses and “TriDef” software that’s able to convert standard videos and photos to 3D.
